good course and tailored to the different roles in which people under take. Does this or is this available for all officers to attend not just those in checking/authorising position? as I feel the trainees would find this very beneficial.
Max was a really engaging teacher and his ability to relate the work specifically to the areas of practice for the individuals on the course was so helpful. His relaxed but informative style clearly made attendees feel able to ask questions and engage throughout. The last 30mins was repetitive and I would have found this more helpful to discuss case studies, which I feel really helps to embed understanding of the topic
Great course. A LOT of information in one day but the case study makes it easy to see how I could use on a day to day basis in the field.
Interesting course with much useful information and advice.
I feel my knowledge of the tribunal process has increased. I am aware of how the tribunal will be set out and the types of questions that will be asked. I am aware to only talk about my area of expertise and not stray into another speciality. I will feel confident to take my time in answering questions, clarify questions if needed and know to speak to the panel.
The course content was really good and it was great to collaborate as a group, discuss ways by which we could improve our interview techniques, questions, and utilising the scenario based packages to conduct interviews.
A useful reminder although not anticipating I will be attending court professionally in my current role, but is important as some I manage (and that they manage) will be doing so on a regular basis.
Really engaging and useful course. Good introduction. Friendly, approachable and relaxed. Shorter lunch and more case studies would be helpful.
I found the training very informative and well paced.
Was a good training. A bit slow-paced but overall beneficial.
