This was brilliant content, and John has such a lot of experience in the regulatory field, it is easy to see how valuable this is for APHA staff. However, I would have appreciated a more dynamic, exercise/feedback-based session, as there was a lot of really useful information being delivered, and it would have been helpful to have applied some of it in context. I generally retain knowledge better when there is an interactive element to the course. We did have a short discussion at the end about some individual cases brought by delegates, which was useful for this purpose, but even with the small group size, we could easily have more delegate input during the course of the day.

Very interesting information shared

i will still always seek support and sense check when repsonding to complaints. i would prefer not to have a full day on teams though, i find it hard to concentrate and work from a screen all day so feel this let the course down

Overall, the course was a good starting point for learning how to write medical-legal reports. However, I feel it is not sufficient for my needs, particularly if I want to take on more complex work in the future. That said, it was a helpful introduction that has given me a foundation to build upon

No more "working breaks". It's a long day with dense material, so you should actually get some mental breaks.

Very helpful course, thank you. Having some interactive discussions did help to break the day up a little bit too!
