I completed this course last year at a face to face event. I found doing the course online today was too rushed. Although we were frequently asked if we understood or if we had any questions, there was not enough of a pause for us to consider each topic, and share views/experiences, before we moved onto the next topic.

My knowledge has improved significantly but I also feel that there is a lot more to understand due to the recent changes.

Felt that the solicitor was not prepared for the court room, the solicitor did not read our notebooks before we were to take the stand and was just asking questions as he was going through our notebooks and witness statements. Court room didn’t have an usher or a clerk, so the setting felt a bit unrealistic. Trainer was good though and engaging during the explanation of court procedures and how we should answer questions presented by the solicitor.

All brilliant and very interesting

Very well led and executed course by Alister. The work we do is very niche and not well known about - Alister made the training real and answered many questions which helped a lot.

Very useful training. I feel more knowledgeable and confident in this process now.
