Certain departments would find this more beneficial than others. Claims based departments actively support vulnerable customers on a daily basis already, therefore some of the course was more of a refresher. we feel there would have been more interactions and discussion in person rather than via teams.

I found the training very insightful regarding the headspace that vulnerable customers can be in when talking to us which will be very helpful. The training was broad as to not be specific to an industry, but I believe that gives room for us to apply the training in ways that make sense for us which is a benefit.

The training sessions I was present for were both topical hitting the subject matter head on. The approach was appropriate for the environment and containing useful stats which helped to bring the information 'to life'. The modern training style and leaning techniques implemented were considered for the audience, and supported the conversations that were held. Helen was excellent as a lead for the sessions with clear passion, concern and love for the topics raised demonstrating a clear knowledge. There is little feedback to improve the day but at a push, perhaps a useful takeaway would be opportunity for individuals to introduce themselves and discuss how non-VC facing staff can support their colleagues whilst maintaining the integrity of the collation and protection of VC data.

A useful and engaging course that is clear to understand and easy to utilize is the work environment. The trainer appeared very knowledgable and positive even when talking about sensitive situations. The introduction of personal information of the trainer allowed me to learn deeper and hear first hand accounts of the best way to handle vulnerable customers. Would recommend to anyone looking to learn to support and supply the best assistance possible.

There is a good balance of trainer information and group participation. A 3 hour course even with a break is quite long for some people. Perhaps slightly shorter summing up periods after breakout groups would help to shorten the overall time.
