really interesting to go over report writing when I have already been completing them for educational tribunal and attending court sessions to support my clients.
I need a bit of time to reflect on what I have learnt, but I feel confident that I can write considerably better reports as a result of this training
I found the session was a bit too unstructured at times with a lot of going off on tangents and not following the agenda. While this was interesting it made it difficult to follow at times. Given the expertise in the room I feel we could have got into more depth about the whole process of report writing, tips and possible trip ups. It was literally the last 5 minutes where we were given the key areas where people go wrong. The most useful thing was the pre-course information and I thought we would build on that more. The exercises were a bit unstructured and confusing. I also didn't know anything about the need to produce a report and how I build this into the wider qualification.
Great course, learnt a huge amount, especially how to conduct an interview using PACE principles
This was a well timed course for me, a refresher in some areas and new learning in others. I definitely feel my notes will help me apply the knowledge
