More confident to raise observations rather than assume others are on the ball and already made correct decisions.

Overall interesting and very useful course to prepare for attending the tribunal to give evidence as a witness, especially around cross examination techniques used by lawyers and examples of ways to deal with difficult questions as a witness.

Great training, although very long — but this was necessary to cover everything in detail. It was nice to take a day to focus solely on CHC, and I really enjoyed the myth‑busting section. I do feel a little more confident to challenge in DSTs and argue for full CHC.

Very informative session, found history of the legislation very interesting and was not aware of the legalities in relation to ceiling on provision that LA should be providing.

Really informative and thought provoking training of a complex topic that incorporates many laws across health and social care. It gave really useful insight into how social care professionals can part of decision making for best outcomes.

Very interesting, interactive, and informative session. I hope to be able to apply my learning to my DST full assessments.

Overall, a very informative session although frustration at times only due to the actual CHC/DST forms as they are and can be very subjective when completing as discussed throughout the training - which could lead to the appropriate services/funding not being put in place and the service user/carers losing out.
