As above very useful and refreshing and reflection on my own practice, along with sharing ideas on practice. Very helpful on matters that I face every day in family court.
Excellent course. I look forward to the other modules and to getting started as an Expert Witness.
The training was informative, engaging, and highly relevant to my role. It provided valuable insight into court procedures and legal frameworks.
Absolutely fantastic, really enjoyed and I feel the course gave a nice balance between hammering home the duty of the expert witness regards tot the court / truth / impartiality / opinion on areas of expertise only etc, and highlighting whilst within an essential framework there were infinite ways to achieve an excellent report. This has made me feel more confident that with my own unique style and experience, I can successfully write Expert Witness Reports and give opinion to assist the court in understanding areas where they may have a deficit in knowledge / experience and come to their sound rulings.
I already had ongoing knowledge about use of language in record keeping and writing reports but attending the training had given more confidence in giving evidence.
Really enjoyable and interesting course. I feel more confident in tackling and presenting evidence.
A useful day learning from a real expert. Great structure, good discussions, lots of scribbled notes to decipher.
There is a lot to know but I am more equipped for the situation.
Thank you. Enlightening. I am pleased I decided to do the witness 'role play'. Lots of hints and tips regarding the different styles of questioning and different purposes for types of questions. Also who to face when answering is a good thing to remember. We did not use the booklet materials sent for the course but I will keep and use in the future as relevant.
Geraint was a really great trainer who put you at ease and communicated really well.
