Bond Solon Reviews

The session is brilliant and covers allot of different aspects of dealing with difficult people however the trainer has explained everything very well and used his own personal examples which has made it very easy to understand.

The course was aimed at the right level and provided a really good introduction to CHC for front line care staff.

I'm not a big fan of online training, however on this occasion Patrick definitely made this interesting, engaging and a lot of food for thought. It was very relevant and an comfortable platform to listen and speak out. I did feel that the small breakout groups lost a little momentum and possibly we need a little more guidance on the material we were using. The group had two different documents as reference. unless I missed an email with the attachment. However, we worked through it and Patrick did jump in to offer further wisdom.

I found the course very informative and I've got a better understanding of the process.

I thoroughly enjoyed the last of my 3 days. Patrick is so knowledgeable and relatable. Training via a digital platform for that length of time is difficult however Patrick kept everyone engaged and included moving at good pace. I have not marked Lorna as she was observing but throughout the sessions I have met her she is warm and approachable and will no doubt be a great asset to Bond Solon.

The course strengthened my understanding of how important it is to listen carefully and treat people with kindness, even when the situation is difficult. In our line of work, we often meet people who are under pressure, upset, or facing complex challenges. The training helped me see that staying calm, patient, and respectful can make a real difference. The Solon Bond training built on this even further. It gave me practical tools to manage challenging conversations, including recognising key signs, using the right skills at the right time, and understanding how to de‑escalate situations before they become more serious. It also helped me learn how to get the person on the other side to work with you, not against you. Overall, the course expanded not just my knowledge, but my confidence in handling difficult interactions in a professional and compassionate way.
