Really enjoyed the course. Was good to hear real life examples which added context to the learning. Really knowledgeable trainers who were engaging.

Great course

An enjoyable course that was informative without getting too complex with the legal information. The trainer was knowledgeable, friendly and engaging as well as being professional. He was very clear with boundaries of what he was able to help with. The breakout rooms were helpful to have discussions with colleagues. The coroner's court role-play was helpful with the provided feedback. It may be helpful for the trainer to have more knowledge on the policies and systems within the NHS to help with relating it to our roles more, but I understand that this is difficult to do when not working in this field.

Course material would have been better received prior to the course so reading could have been carried out.

Very good

A very good course. I recall on the last one of these courses I did that we undertook a search operation exercise, making notebook entries at the time. We then wrote our own witness statements based on this. I feel that this method really helps embed the learning points, as you are then forced to reexamine what you have written and how you have phrased it. Using the 2 statements in the current course is a little artificial, although I accept it provides specific learning points. I would prefer the entire event to be face to face rather than via Teams.

I am very pleased with what the course taught me today and will take this in to my day to day.
