This training is great for people who want to get into independent Expert Witness work, especially in the medical field. It is very focused on the civil courts whereas my work falls into the family courts only. I would recommend this course to be done within social work training to help prepare social workers for court evidence and reports. I enjoyed the course and it has given me confidence I am doing my role well.

Excellent course Nick is superb

Really knowledgable and engaging trainer but in terms of access to resources, it would be most helpful to have access to more example reports, example T's and C's, etc.

I did find it very useful but I feel the afternoon was most valuable and wondered if there needed to be a 2nd day to go through more cases? or more time for this in the morning too I also always think a face to face conference and discussion is more suitable here and significantly be better for my learning, concentration and memory recall

Good course overall that provoked some good discussion. Although I have fairly good knowledge of this due to my role, the legal aspects and discussion points are always an area I find really useful. It is always interesting to hear other perspectives and thoughts on situations.

A very informative, interesting and engaging day

The trainer in particular was really engaging - despite it being the end of the week he kept us all interested in the course material. I particularly liked all of the anecdotes and stories from his time as a barrister and beyond - it really grounded the material we were going through. The actual written material was good when we used it, but we barely used the workbook (which wasn't a bad thing, I'd much rather be engaged through conversation than having to read a workbook).

A great course, knowledgable trainers, thoroughly enjoyed it.
