A fantastic day - well worth it and the time went so quickly. Obviously, as this is a 'template' course to give us the skills - the subject matter is wide and even the report method might be different in terms of context. There were a varied group of people and I felt i learnt a lot from their questions and Richards answer too. I liked that we were given regular breaks, becuase its very cognitive in nature. This course has really helped my confidence grow within the expert witness sector for my university degree in forensic science (specifically my law module). The barrister that came in was very helpful.

It was really clever and hugely educative to do the day with experts from all different professions. This keeps the approach general, which as a starting point is really useful. If it were all to be within our own specialties I imagine that there would be instant tunnel vision. I was very nervous before the start of the day, but found the interaction appropriate and very useful.

I felt the course was excellent overall. The trainer clearly had good knowledge, and confidently answered questions that were asked throughout the day. It was also good to see a course delivered where the trainer was not simply reciting content from pre-prepared slides.

I thought that Nick was very engaging and knowledgeable. The structure of the course and its timings were designed to allow time for the facts to be digested. I particularly liked the breakout groups, which allowed for group discussion and exposure to other professions, expertise, and report-writing styles.
