Enjoyable day with some interesting topics covered. Really useful to work through existing work documentation to understand how it could be improved.
I wasn't sure what to expect from this course, but I found it both interesting and useful. A key part of this was looking at some of our own reports, as this gave us the right context for the areas we work in and tailored it to our needs, which was great.
Really enjoyed it. Thought Nick came with a wealth of experience. And presented it in a format that fitted with what we do.

Given my court experience before this I wasnt 100% sure how useful it would be considering I have done lots of court exercises. But all other experiences have been with trainers or police officers pretending to be barristers etc. It was really good having a learned solicitor here to give a bit of guidance and then to be defence. It provided far more realism to the situation.
It was a very interesting course. When the time comes I feel more prepared to be a witness in court.
