I found the course really beneficial. M.D was great she was very engaging . I liked that the course was a lot of discussion and not PowerPoint heavy . It was great we got to do role plays and practice as this is a new area for me so have not dealt with these types of calls before . M.D checked on our wellbeing throughout which was great . It’s really got me thinking now about the language used when talking about suicide and I feel more resourceful when dealing with these types of calls .

The course was extremely useful and thought-provoking. The tutor was very good at explaining the content and ensuring that there was a clear focus throughout whilst consistently checking that everyone was okay as the topic was heavy and something that can easily upset.

Shian has an excellent way of delivering the content in a compassionate yet informative way. She was always open to answering additional questions and gave some great extra context where needed. The course was great and gave some much needed structure to having these difficult conversations.

The course was very informative and I learned a lot. The video with Campbell's phonecall was very important as it's something that we could relate to, as we are phone agents. The guide provides a lot of guidance and prompts that I can look to when I'm stuck on a call
