I thought the course was very informative - given the sensitivity of the topic the material was light so not to trigger anyone however still direct and impactful in terms of providing our staff with new tools and techniques to best support our most endangered customers.
Brilliant course, brilliant tutor- highly recommend.
Very interesting and learnt a lot around how to approach a conversation with someone who is suicidal and having those feelings - i feel a lot more confident - (i havent enrolled onto level 4 RSPH assignment but would like to, so will speak with my manager)
Jamie was really good, he made sure we understood everything and has given us some really good statements to make discussing suicide with our customers easier.
VERY GOOD COURSE THAT I CAN APPLY TO MY WORK AND EVERDAY LIFE TO HELP AND SUPPORT THE PEOPLE AROUND ME
I think this gave me a better understanding and feel more confident in my job role if I get a call from a customer who is displaying suicidal behaviour
It was good and informative training, Jamie spoke clearly which helps when understand the sessions, gained a better understanding of how to deal and what questions to ask when speaking to someone who may be feeling suicidal.
