Sian was soooo good provided a safe environment. I feel more confident to ask the questions and walk away with a toolkit.
Really good The biggest thing I thought was asking the person if they were thinking of ending their life which is something I wouldn’t have thought appropriate before but very enlightening and interesting
Another toolkit Useful contacts Works well alongside other training However if not familiar with active listening, EI I would suggest this would also be neeed
I feel I could have a more comfortable discussion with someone who is in a position where they are at harm of themselves, I now feel I know how to guide this conversation.
I had some confidence that I could handle a situation like someone wanting to take their own life, but this course and Shian’s excellent delivery has given me 100% confidence.

I think today’s training really opened my eyes to what skills I have and what resources I can recommend it has also really opened my eyes to the lack of knowledge in the business I work for and will indeed take the training away to ensure our staff have the adequate training.
Gained confidence in talking about suicide in a ‘normal’ way. Being direct is ok. Knowing the different steps and being aware or many triggers.
The course was presented in a relaxed atmosphere which engenders a really collegiate atmosphere. There has been plenty of time for queries and questions , have enjoyed the learning.
