The course was helpful in understanding how behaviour is communication, and how we as nursing staff can implement change and adapt to meet everyone’s needs. The trainer was great and helped me to understand in detail how to deescalate situations.

Really informative course, kept the group involved in discussions throughout the whole day, including doing teamwork exercises together to engage everyone. Increased my knowledge and understanding of PBS so I can implement this in my practice. Thank you

I enjoyed the training session. There was a good mix of theory & interaction which was delivered by a very knowledgeable individual who was able to supply examples to the groups different work areas. Whilst my department doesn't experience behaviours of concern very often I now feel better prepared to be able to use descalation techniques & may also be able to use it with managing a large team of staffResponse : It’s great to hear you enjoyed the session and found the balance of theory and interaction useful. We’re really pleased the training feels relevant to your role and that you feel more equipped to manage situations, both in practice and within your team.

Overall I think the session was quite long and would have appreciated the chance to stand up and participate. However the content was really in depth applying studies I wouldn’t have thought to consider. I think Ben did a great job getting everyone to participate and engage within the session.Response : Thank you for your feedback. We’re really pleased you found the content in-depth and engaging, and that Ben encouraged good participation throughout. We appreciate your comments about the length of the session — the course duration is set in line with RRN Standards, but we’ll continue to look at ways to keep sessions as engaging and varied as possible.

The course was designed well and contained lots of relevant information that was laid out clearly and in a way that made sense. Kim was a great trainer, she cleared things up that I got confused about, knew how to give relative examples that applied to the course and our place of work and worked efficiently so, keeping training engaging and interesting. Thank you. I feel better about being able to provide pbs in my new role!Response : Thank you so much for your detailed feedback! We’re really pleased to hear the course supported you in your new role and that Kim’s approach helped make everything clear and relevant. It’s great to know you’re leaving feeling more confident.
