Appreciate the week of career prep! Great refresher for practicing interviews and guidance to set up resumes and profiles geared towards IT careers. Also a great resource to discuss, visit and utilize several platforms to research companies, job listings and finding other IT professionals to reach out to.
Mrs. Espinoza brings strong experience to Career Prep and explains each topic clearly. She provides helpful guidance on Career Connect Prentus, résumés, cover letters, and practical ways to improve our interviewing skills.
Over all it was a good class and covered all CompTIA objectives. I feel the pacing was a little to fast, and I understand that we need to take time to study on our own in order to ensure our own success. I am also aware of the ITPro videos and the mentoring/tutoring sessions. But in terms of the pacing, It is a whole lot of information to take in and even retain in just class.

This one could have been shorter and Net Plus longer.
as we did do a+ and net+ prior to doing sec+, there was to many redundancies with the information. but with the new information i wish it was more in depth.
Overall, I found the CompTIA Security+ course informative and helpful, but I believe it would have been more effective if the course were longer. The material covered a lot of important concepts in a short amount of time, which sometimes made the course feel rushed. I also would have benefited from more hands-on labs and practical exercises to reinforce the concepts and gain more real-world experience. Extending the course and incorporating additional hands-on activities would better prepare students for both the Security+ exam and real-world IT/security environments.
Mr. Clanton has done a great job so far with new knowledge in the cybersecurity field.
The teaching method, connection of real-world to what we were studying, and breaking it down into ways that can be understood has been vital for me to not only increase my understanding of the material, but also to continue peaking my interest.
Great instruction! I liked how terms were explained and how repetition were used to nail down facts and terminology. Would definitely recommend to others.
