Overall, i am better educated on information technology than when i started. I plan to improve on what i have learned here.

Fix the labs make them multiple choice like the comptia exam so they actually hold some learning merit but also do hands on learning.

More hands on with physical computer parts is needed. An actual Lab that we can build a server or at least put together a PC or change out the battery would be nice. The school promotes hands on but provides no actual hands on. the entire class could be virtual at this point and I came here because that is what I was trying to get away from in my other school. Do better.

Alot of material covered in two weeks of instruction. Our instructor (Angel) was familiar with all of the information. Probably too much information to go over in such a short timeframe. Use of online services and programs, recommended during the class, were useful in providing visual explanations.

Paige lead the class for the career prep week and it was an OUTSTANDING course because of the way she facilitates!

Engaging, helpful, effective instructor. There was a lacking of performance-based questions in the exams; this is the part of the certification exam that I am most uncertain about. There was not a large enough question bank for the 1201 and 1202 Practice Tests and the Midterm. I took all three about seven times each and the questions only slightly varied between sessions; a larger question bank would help me feel more capable and prepared for the A+ certification exam. Resources with a vast question bank so I can grind through the topics and prove to myself that I am prepared; these resources were more accessible and helpful than Coach Maci for me. Many questions in the labs were so specific that they distracted from the learning of the concepts and wasted time.

The Course was very inconsistent and poorly organized. However what communication goes, teachers and organizers are pretty spot on inside the course. I was removed from the course 3 days before finishing due to "attendance", however Michelle helped me last second preventing me from having to retake the whole sec+ again. As well as several individuals helping me with an issue i had outside of the class content.
