Overall besides the super fun instructors and people in class, ACI is disappointing at best. ACI is a huge cash grab from veterans GI bills and VETTEC and it's super disappointing to see material like this being passed off by the VA. The venue is pretty trashy too. For $14k per student, we should have a semi-decent coffee station, flash cards provided, and computers/keyboards that work. I bring my own laptop because half the time my keyboard and monitors don't even work! There's even super thin study guides on all the CompTIA exams made that can be purchased. We weren't able to get answers for employment numbers, and how many people pass the exams after this course. Those are solid data points we should be given. The video from the 'career services week' was from 2019 and Rachel couldn't answer any of my questions about it such as "where is he now" and "how much did he start off making" and "when a salary range on a job posting is $80k-150k how do we negotiate that". She couldn't answer any of those. 2019 was a very different time in the tech industry than it is now and ACI material is NOT reflecting that. They're doing the bare minimum to get by and pass VA audits to keep getting funding. My recruiter in the beginning was also horrible and barely got back to me, her phone was even disconnected and no one in class had any idea where to go---we didn't even know ACI was on the 8th floor! My recruiter Michelle Revis gets 0 stars from me. Rachel (super nice lady! but not a tech/IT recruiter and couldn't answer any job related questions) gets 1 star from me. Shame on you for taking advantage of veterans ACI. And also for putting your instructors in the position to possibly lose their jobs because if ACI can't produce the numbers for passing students, there's no point for this school! Everyone who asks me about ACI, I tell them absolutely not. Feel free to reach out for more clarification.

Overall, I enjoy in-person learning with great classmates and instructors. However, my experience with ACI Learning has been disappointing at best. The recruitment process was poorly managed, with recruiters lacking knowledge and communication along with rumors leading to mistrust and a shaky foundation. Issues with facilities and broken equipment added to the frustration. Job placement support seems inadequate, and the high price doesn't reflect the value received. While the teachers are competent, the curriculum lacks focus on exam-relevant material. Basic study aids like flashcards and workbooks are missing. Despite my effort, I cannot and will not in good conscience recommend ACI Learning for anyone interested in IT education.

all of the information provided by this course is easily available elsewhere online, i only signed up to be sat down and taught by a teacher not to show up play a game and teach myself regardless, by far worst classroom experience i have ever endured.

One giant, long, overly complicated, and unnecessarily convoluted vocabulary session. Never taught the how's of networking or even the why's of networking, just the vocabulary.

Id like a refund. This is horrible.

Either provide more time to learn the material or get better teachers, choose a struggle.

It’s disheartening to know that Audit Cybersecurity & Information Technology was given this population of students to teach. Why prey on the vulnerable? Please have every stakeholder send someone with little to no IT experience through this course. Hopefully they will then see that their funding is being wasted with this current teaching layout. Please utilize the instructors to help ACi-San Antonio get back on track.

Eric is a great instructor as previously noted. I believe the way he instructors should be documented in the course material. He provides more information than the material which is a good thing, it helps understand the material better.

Have the instructors view the material to ensure its going to be effective, and to ensure its the correct material needed to help with the actual certification.

This is my fourth course with ACI Learning, and I haven't been happy with one since my first: ITIL Foundations. The material is so flawed that our instructor has spent such a large amount of time pointing out those flaws and Googling relevant visual aids that it made it nearly impossible to stay attentive and engaged. The most beneficial thing about this course has been the access to ITProTV and TestOut, which have excellent videos and labs to help prepare me for the exams. This course material is sorely lacking and in need of a serious upgrade.
