ACI Learning Reviews

This is my fourth course with ACI Learning, and I haven't been happy with one since my first: ITIL Foundations. The material is so flawed that our instructor has spent such a large amount of time pointing out those flaws and Googling relevant visual aids that it made it nearly impossible to stay attentive and engaged. The most beneficial thing about this course has been the access to ITProTV and TestOut, which have excellent videos and labs to help prepare me for the exams. This course material is sorely lacking and in need of a serious upgrade.

All the course material and assesments needs to be looked at again. Even though I had an outstanding instructor, I dont feel condfident in taking the certification with the material I was given. Its going to take more reading and use of different material.

After the course I feel that I am not ready to take the certification exam and pass, which is the whole point of the class. Perhaps make it longer and incorporate the Certmaster practice more.

For CompTIA A+ 1001 specifically, I cannot recommend the instructor that I had in the slightest. However, the IT Pro TV and TestOut materials were quite good.

The "instructor" did not teach one thing for me to learn. My new teacher is now re teaching all of us because none of us learned what he said. But what we did learn is, is about his ex's and how to hack a car. That is it

I went in to my Cert test feeling confident i had a firm grasp on all the provided material. i passed both sample papers fairly easily, but still failed my certification test with a 63%. i feel like i was given improper material to study, and in turn i failed the cert. Very skeptical of my next class now.

If CompTIA Network+ cannot be instructed fully, then either extend it or remove it and extend Security+ by two weeks. A+ and Sec+ are what get us into good jobs, so kill off Net+. ACI needs an instructor certification program rather than waiting for student feedback. Just like in other educational institutions, supervisors should sit in to spot-check instructor performance. I also recommend providing each student with CompTIA's student guide as student self-study material. Thank you for providing us Eric after removing Toby. He has been amazing in trying to get us the highlights that Toby failed to deliver.

ACI needs to improve. Needs better instructor hiring.

Horrible. Not prepared. Benefits taken with no preparation.
