I really enjoyed this class. Mr Patrick Allen is an excellent instructor and i feel like he's done what he can to support us and help us succeed.
I thought the class was very informative and it helped me become more organized with job applications, interviews, and my personal and professional growth. The structure of the course made it easy to follow, and I appreciated how each topic built on the last in a way that made sense.
It was super helpful because it tightened up my resume and LinkedIn account.
Great overall class! Instructor gave in-depth guidance and visuals to help grasp the fundamentals needed to pass the end of course exam.
High volume of information in such a short timeframe created a challengs; such as reduced retention, surface-level learning, increased burnout. Lessons were not in any order and some students did not have proper courses loaded the first few days.
There questioning that was asked but not explain in the ebooks or slide. A lot of information to retain, with very little time.
I enjoyed the course, but it moves quickly. It was advertised that a beginner with no experience would be able to complete the course easily. I think that was a stretch because I relied on principles that I had in media that were similar. I think if it was advertised as a "boot camp", which is what it was, my expectations would have been different. I also think some of the course work should be proofread in order to make sure information is not lost while training. Overall, it was a good course and I did learn something, but I have studying to do in order to pass the A+ exam.
The class instruction with Mr. Condes was great, he was engaging and insightful. The tests or quizzes were varied to facilitate learning. Labs were engaging and required hands on instruction to complete.
I thought the course prepared me well for the cert.
