Enjoyable, probably more so for people at the start of their career but some good learning in there for introverts and people who haven’t thought about strategic relationships.
Breakout sessions sometimes difficult to think of a scenario on the spot - eg conflict-would’ve been good to think of beforehand -or use some case studies. The team discussions are good. Also would be good to share more of the slides -a personal note book at the start of all tge modules with some of the key slides and space to write notes would be a great keepsake and reminder for everyone. I have various pieces of paper dotted about.
Defining a manager took a longer time than felt necessary.
Haven’t taken any learnings from this module yet. Although has helped me spend time to consider approach for setting goals with a team member. Good talking to others and getting other opinions.
Good course and delivered well however the contents was basic for my skills. I know the grow model and use it well so maybe the next level of coaching would have added more value.
I'm afraid I didn't really take much away from the course but maybe some of the reading material mentioned by Charlotte would make a difference for me to help me study more how I respond/react.
I found the course high-level and rushed in places. The facilitators were great, but had a lot of high-level data to get through in a short space, and some elements felt rushed, without providing granular detail on board activities. One time I came back from a break out room and we were halfway through the summary slide.
Worthwhile for those interested in self development. Good taster to followup this more in depth.
Enjoyed EQ element. Wasn’t convinced about Level 5 session. Felt a bit ‘let’s pop another model in’ rather than leading us to think how we can do things differently
Most of it was for me but nothing ventured nothing gained
