We didn't do many labs in class. The instructions for the labs weren't clear so it took me a min to figure out how to move the components. A video before doing labs might be helpful. Make sure that the instructors understand that this is a new industry for most of us so we need simple ways to understand the information. I know that you all can't control the length of the courses so we need every tool to help us be successful.

Overall the course was go and informative. As I stated before, ACI should start using the ITIL approach because it became very apparent that some of the different areas are not IN sync with each other. If we need to know the COMPTIA way since they are giving the test, at minimum, we should get that material so we can succeed and pass. of course the other material is just as important and needs to be added into the curriculum where it is available. Luckily our instructor/Professor noticed this issue early on and tried to do whatever he could to minimize the damage.

there isn't enough time in the day to study, do all the labs, certmaster etc, especially for someone with children at home. On top of all of this, we have to do resume's, LinkedIn, work search etc. It's just too fast.

Great course to get you ready to study for the CompTIA A+ 1102 exam...

Instructor need at least an extra week of course time.

Course is way way way too fast for such detailed info. The labs were terrible and outdated because we were told to click buttons that weren't on the lab, plus error messages etc. They were a mess. Instructor was fantastic though.

A whole lot of Information at once had to take time off work for self-study

Overall, I feel like the course isn't necessary. At this beginning stage, it doesn't seem relevant to an IT career when it is stated several times throughout the 40 hours that ITIL is a business practice. Almost all of the content is fairly common sense, the level of difficulty is introduced by the specific terminologies and definitions. I can see and understand the different practices and terms in my current career, but I don't feel like I learned much of anything other than that a certain practice I have been doing actually has a word to go with it.

Labs were difficult to use. It's a lot of new information, so it may be best to find more video and other visual aids to engage students.

i feel as though the teacher did not discuss a lot of the questions that were on the final.
