I thought this was overall a very good training session which helped me in understanding what would be required of me as an expert witness (something I am completely new to). There were a few technical glitches and delays, where I would suggest approaching delegates prior to the course to request to submit an advance any prior anonymised reports that could then be incorporated into the training pack/allocations to ultimately streamline that element, as the scenarios were very helpful.

Geraint made a special effort to tailor a niche subject to the role I and my HMT colleagues undertake, and it was much appreciated.

Very good trainer / content. I think if the case study continued to give further info as the stages progressed - staff would have been more engaged throughout eg mums engagement became clear at stage 2.

Phil the trainer was excellent. Feels like the course manual needs a refresh, and the assessment questions are impenetrable and need a rewrite.

Excellent course, Phillip Bond made everything clear and involved everybody in the course/tasks. The training is excellent, however it just does not really apply to our role - this is not a criticism of the supplier. My only criticism is, as the course content doesn't apply to our role, we should not be required to provide a case study related to our area of work (in the assessments). This could be adjusted to require just a general case study, however I recognise this would have been difficult for BS to pre-empt.

It would have been useful to link more closely to our policies and procedures. Perhaps an introduction to put into context. I learned a lot from the officers on the course who were already experienced.

Really good course and very beneficial due to the limited exposure most 'experienced' officers get to deal with search warrants.

It was a good course and I went away knowing more about different conflict styles and how I can approach conflict effectively. I would say that it could have been shorter and didn't need a full day. Also we didn't have access to course material which was supposed to have been sent beforehand.

Really interesting course, that was interactive and engaging throughout, it was a great group on the call and trainer was engaging, answering all questions put to him and allowing us to discuss openly and promote a positive environment to discuss conflict/difficult conversations.

Chris was extremely knowledgable about the subject matter. He created great group discussion which maintained interest throughout the long day. Definitely take key points away and apply in my everyday role which makes me more confident to deal with any future conflicts that may occur. Thanks
