The modules though very helpful, however were extremely time consuming, and extremely hard for anyone with a fulltime job to get completely done. 4 hour class easily turned into a 6 hour class at times. Not doable for working folk.
The amount of information passed in the condensed course left little time for learning and internalizing. I look forward to after when I can go over the material in a less frenzied pace to gain the most from the volume of information and spend more time in the labs becoming proficient with the techniques and software demonstrated during the course.
The labs were great, i really enjoyed them, and liked having step by step instructions
Wish I would of had more time to go over the concepts in a smoother time, to get the big ideas down. But overall great learning.
For me, I believe 4 hours a night is too much to take in the vast amount of knowledge we go over, I know the course says to do 3 hours of self-study for every hour of class, which totals 120 hours of study. I think students would gain more if the class was just 2 hours a night and maybe extend it from 2 weeks to 3 or 4 weeks long. Some studies prove shorter study times over longer periods help the knowledge gained be retained. Having the class be 2 hours a night would keep most students' attention and focus while not being too much to comprehend/understand.
The instructor gave real world examples, sometimes he was a little hard to follow. Class can be hard to focus on, would recommend more breaks.
Could have easily been a four-week course to allow for lab completion for those with jobs and families.
