I enjoyed the course, a lot of information in two weeks and will have the greatest contact of my instructor Alexis Valencia. He was able to break things down and help understand the class work.
I've had many instructors over the years and my past experience has been that I have received instruction from lab assistants, adjunct professors and support staff. This is not the case for Alexis Valencia. It is ACI's good fortune and to the benefit of their students that we have an instructor with this level of knowledge and skill. Alexis doesn't just teach the material; it's obvious that he's spent years in the industry working on the cutting edge of innovation, not just on the systems and equipment side, but in the organizational aspects of Information Technology. I'm sure that there are many companies who would spend quite of lot in terms of resources, time and effort trying to onboard him, but it's obvious that he likes what he does, so you can't have him. He's ours.
Chis Ward is an amazing teacher and was more than i could have asked for when it comes to instructors. Thank You for everything!!!
Overall the class was fine labs are the issue
Found the course to be very challenging. A lot of acronyms. Tough to memorize in short 2 week course. Also found the last several lessons to be beyond the scope of requirements I would expect for people just learning this information. Everything up to that point was very good.
I wish there were a question answer system that used immediate answer feedback per each question, like daily quizzes but the overall course was very informative
need to be more interactive with the class like pop quiz, or quizlet, or gimkit things of that nature
Even though Mr. Smith talked somewhat fast at times, he always ensured that the material was understandable. The instructor was extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of the material presented. Because information the instructor felt was important was not included in the slides, Mr. Smith added the information to the slides and provided the class with a copy of the updated slides. Overall, I am leaving this class with a better understanding of what is required of a network technician.
Overall I think my instructor was good and repetitive with helping with the work. Just not sure if I really comprehend all the info.
