Its a good fundamental training about the data management.
I felt Alexis was very informative and took the time to go over any questions brought to his attention.
The assessment vs the course material in my opinion had some small disconnections comparing my notes to looking at the questions that I got wrong. Overall the course and the instructor I felt the instructor knew more than the course material and did his best to give adequate comparisons to what was being learned at the time. My only issue with the assessment is that if you have a pick 3 or pick 2 multiple and you as a student get half or 2 out of the 3 right there should be some credit given instead of a end all be all scenario cause you never know if the student retained enough of the course material to pass the given benchmark.
Slow down so that students can have a little bit of time gather thoughts and write down notes. Very knowledge instructor but needs slow down just a little for the slow note takers.
Core was a good course and Eugene Hamric was very thorough in his teaching in the class also.
the course can be shorten to 4 days or 4.5 days by omitting some subjects or extending certain days agenda; it’s quite hard to spent 5 straight days for training for most senior exec.
Really good class with quite a bit of information to take in. Felt pretty confident going in with the base of knowledge i had picked up in previous positions but I've got a ways to go in terms of well rounded aspect. Mr. Valencia did a good job with tying in the subject matter into world real situations. Interaction aspect of the class was great, having the ability to ask questions to get feedback is always a plus. Looking forward to 220-1002! thanks EM Houston, TX
John Woods was a great instructor and it is very clear that he cares about the learning of his students. I have two comments regarding the course itself. 1. 8 Hours a day is extremely rough, I don't think that I would recommend that to anyone. The option is a "nice to have" but I wouldn't call it a "need to have". 2. A couple slides appear to be outdates. One in particular seems to mention things like the OLA and contracts but that is from ITIL v.3 while ITIL 4 completely omits them.
