Familiar with a lot of content so it did sometimes feel redundant but it was make very entertaining

Ben was super engaging. Thank you! It would’ve been helpful to have a bit more info around support for patients with dementia as a lot of the wards have these patients and a lot of colleagues do not use the tools provided to support them which is concerning. The group work was good for interaction. Afternoon break not needed in my opinion :) Thanks again!Response : Hi Francesca. Thank you for your thoughtful feedback. I'm really pleased to hear you found Ben engaging and enjoyed the group work for interaction. Your point about including more information on support for patients with dementia is very helpful, and we’ll take this on board when reviewing future sessions. Thanks again for taking the time to share your reflections.

Slightly repetitive, relaxed environment and great trainer

Very good. Revision rather than new learning but very important nonetheless. I will endeavour to always try to consider the arousal model in relation to patients and to always treat people as individuals. Whilst we all try to do this, sometimes we forget!

Great course. Useful examples. Quite long with a lot of sitting but the interaction was great and kept us alert. A good basis and I am interested in the second level to bring it all together

Liam was fantastic and very engaging. However, training appeared to be more tailored to paediatric healthcare professionals and did not reflect the role of mental health nurses (which they practice most content already) in the trust. However this is a observation of the trust commissioning the training, not Liam’s deliveryResponse : Hello Francesca, Thank you for sharing your feedback, it’s great to hear that Liam’s delivery came across as engaging and effective. As a mental health nurse myself, I understand how much of the course content reflects practice that’s already embedded in our day-to-day work. The first day is designed to give a broad foundation around behavioural principles, applicable across settings, but I do appreciate your point about how it may have felt more aligned with paediatric contexts in this instance. Your observation about the commissioning is particularly useful, and we’ll certainly reflect that in future discussions to ensure content feels as relevant and tailored as possible for all participants. We’re always grateful for feedback that helps us improve, so thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts.
