Great course. Useful examples. Quite long with a lot of sitting but the interaction was great and kept us alert. A good basis and I am interested in the second level to bring it all together

Liam was fantastic and very engaging. However, training appeared to be more tailored to paediatric healthcare professionals and did not reflect the role of mental health nurses (which they practice most content already) in the trust. However this is a observation of the trust commissioning the training, not Liam’s delivery

As a mental health nurse myself, I understand how much of the course content reflects practice that’s already embedded in our day-to-day work. The first day is designed to give a broad foundation around behavioural principles, applicable across settings, but I do appreciate your point about how it may have felt more aligned with paediatric contexts in this instance. Your observation about the commissioning is particularly useful, and we’ll certainly reflect that in future discussions to ensure content feels as relevant and tailored as possible for all participants.
