Attendees value their knowledge, patience, inclusivity and willingness to answer questions, while clear materials and well-structured delivery make complex topics easy to understand. Found it an awful lot to take in and remember it all. Most difficult module so far.

Could have been completed on line complete waste of an afternoon. Trainer gave out of date and inaccurate information regarding new guidelines around removal of bras on females and went through DRABC and only discussed calling for help after discussing these elements which is not in line with the current resus guidelines. The manual handling video on slide sheets demostrated sliding someone up the bed on a half sized sheet meaning they would have suffered sheer injury to their heels. Too much focus on irrelevant obscure information rather than focusing on delivering accurate up to date information.

I feel like there should be more practical parts about how it can be managed on a day to day. Practical skills. I enjoy relating it to people's experiences but need hands on teaching that can be implemented.

I think the course is misleading for hca/agency staff as they may not be able to access consistent supervised practice. Alot of people where doing it for career progression, but due to the nature of there emoyment (care homes) they will not get to practice or use the skills. They have all self funded too.
