This was an insightful and engaging experience, largely due to our trainer, who delivered the sessions in a challenging yet rewarding manner. Their strong legal background and the character they brought to the sessions made the learning process even more effective.

Phil was very knowledgeable and engaging, making sure that all of the attendees joined in and understood the subject matter.

The course was interactive and particularly liked the case critique sessions.

I thought the course overall was good and interesting. I noticed quite a few junior trainees were on the call and it was definitely accessible to them. One thing is that I signed up, in part, because it was advertised as statement and report writing with a scottish law slant. I'm not sure that there was a huge amount covered in terms of Scottish law / the differences in process between England and Scotland.

It was a little too Criminal weighted but there were some good things to take away.

Great trainer, very engaging from the start. Would maybe suggest more scenarios to consider.

Great discussion and Legal background helped aid discussion on the need for clarity.

I think this would have been clearer and easier if we had a clearer sense of why we were on the course in the first place and how this fits into a wider strategy across the trust. It leant heavily into a medical model that didnt directly relate to my experiences of managing cases with chronic concerns and long term relationships

I enjoyed the course and found John very personable. I found the role play helpful and could see how the training related to my role
