I really enjoyed the whole training today, I feel comfortable and confident to do the mental capacity assessment in the future after the training. Many thanks to Max, he made the trining interesting and enjoyable.

The trainer was Umar. The course content and overview of Scottish Law and Procedure was very helpful and relevant to my expert witness practice.

Certainly learnt a lot from this course, a lot more than I knew before hand. Financial investigation has always been a 'dry' subject for me, but I do feel the trainers broke down my perception. I do now have a far greater grasp of legislation around Money Laundering. The 'smaller' group work helped with this understanding.

Overall a very insightful presentation.

Bob and Paul were experienced and knowledgeable. The case studies were a bit slow but did the job in getting us thinking and talking. I think that s71 and r61 should be built into the discussions because we deal with these regularly. Thank you.

Bit too much time spent on SARS

Has deepened my understanding of the interfaces, clarified common pitfalls and reinforced importance of lawful, proportionate and rights based desicion making.

Very informative course, as a current AFI within the EA I think that the course is pitched in the right area for the EA criminalinvestigators

A was a little disappointed as I expected a more detailed exploration of the interface between the MHA and MCA and more importantly how this is likely to change with the new mental health act. I've participated in Bond Solon Training in the past and always viewed such events as the gold standard but sadly this doesn't appear to be the case anymore. Also it was billed to last from 9.30 to 5pm so I have been working from home with my managers permission.
