Ren was a fantastic trainer and I feel more confident in my statement writing skills as a result of the course. The only aspect in which the course could be improved is by less independent working throughout the course of the day. Whilst it is good to do exercises to put knowledge into practice, I would have preferred to go over examples of statement writing more and would have also enjoyed reviewing our statements as a whole group to pick out points for improvement, etc. Overall still a good course and thank you again to Ren :)

The statement writing exercise was very helpful in considering how easily detail can be missed or be assumed in a witness statement. This is something I will consider when taking witness statements in future.
