Bond Solon Reviews

Speaker/ teacher was very engaging, kind and patient. the report we were asked to review was very poor - it was the person's first ever report. it would be good to look at an example of a good report. also I am feeling very unsure about bringing a case study when I have never recieved instructions and the case studies were to do with businesses and surveyors (not medical field) so am feeling a bit lost as to how to make up a case study but will do my best. would be good if bond solon took into account that some of us have zero experience in being an expert witness (hence the reason for doing this course) and not ask us to imagine things that we have no experience of - perhaps provide us with a case study instead of asking us to make something up.

Ren was very engaging and approachable. Made the course interesting a relatable with explanations and stories in 'normal civilian' language which made the course fun but also with valid information

The course was well structured and clearly explained the investigative framework. The case studies were helpful in understanding how the principles apply in practice, in particular to my role. The trainer explained the material in an accessible way and had plenty of examples/stories to enable the group to grasp the understanding.

The Course overall is good, there is a lot of information to take on, however the explanation of everything so far was excellent.

Geraint is a very likable and friendly character who managed to keep conversation bright and interesting - especially if the subject may seem difficult to digest at first! He was more than happy to answer all of our questions throughout and explain in detail what everything meant.

I found the course very interesting and extremely useful. It provided a clear and well‑structured refresher on the legal foundations, the different types of evidence, standards of proof, and the principles of maintaining a proper chain of custody. Although I already had some prior experience in this area through my work, including involvement in several health and safety prosecutions, including fatal cases, I still found the training valuable. It helped me consolidate and refresh my knowledge, and it clarified some points of best practice that I will take forward into my current role. Overall, the course was engaging, practical, and well delivered. I appreciated the way the trainer explained complex concepts in a straightforward manner, and I feel more confident in applying these principles in my day‑to‑day work. Thank you for a very informative session.
