I was unsure if I would get anything out of the course for my role, as an administrator, but I have come away wanting to learn more, thought it was really interesting and feel like I can talk with a little more knowledge to the team and also understand more about how you should think about your answers when being questioned. Factual and correct. The 9 box metadata will be useful to ensure team are using this or similar - thank you

Very interesting and will be able to apply into practice. Think i would like more case studies to give practice examples

I think I've found it very challenging but possibly because I am new to the area.

it is very hard to get through 2 full days online. more dynamic or visual content may help. also some of the exam questions still felt very difficult despite completing the course which may be intentional or may be that it wasn't covered clearly enough

Simon Jelf is an excellent teacher and he has made the course fun and engaging. The guidebook is very clear and thorough, but the links do not work. I would have liked to have had the opportunity to hear more from medical colleagues in the course regarding their own experience of writing reports - so some more interaction amongst the group would have been invaluable but appreciate maybe there isn't time/ space to do this. If there was a more specialised course dealing specifically with psychiatric medical expert witness report writing I would be very interested in that as it was hard for me to follow the examples/ exercised outlined which were nonmedical. I would also be interested in a face to face course, as zoom can become quite tiring when doing it all day for two days straight. I would have also liked to see an example contract/ invoice.

Very good course. I liked the way the core principles were explored first before delving into the Fluctuating capacity case law. If anything, the case law felt a bit rushed and there may have been benefit on having these cases unfold throughout the day rather than at the end.
