Liz was an excellent facilitator and the session was interactive and engaging. I was initially apprehensive about how this would apply to myself as I have never considered being on a board. However, this course has made me realise that not only is it possible but something I would now consider. As well as the boardroom aspects, there was a lot that I found will be applicable to all aspects of my role and career. The Components of Leadership, in particular the High Challenge/ High Support section, Resilience and Managing Stakeholders were all really interesting and is something that I will definitely use in the future. I will definitely be recommending this to colleagues.
A fun way to take on ideas to improve my franchise
Today hurt my brain more than yesterday which is great as it’s meant I’ve come away with a totally different mindset. Before today I had laid out how I was going to prioritise and business plan for 2025. With the sessions from the last two days I’m now going to take a different approach.
Proactive future pacing and judgement factors particularly good
Very good session with an interesting guest speaker. A lot of the content is common sense but it’s also very helpful to have things reiterated. Paul’s style is very good, answers for everything and gets the best out of the group in a good way
