The training was very good but, because it was a one-day course only, too many topics were covered, forcing us to move on before having fully memorised the signs for new material. However, the teaching method was really good, with repetitions and role play exercises. The tutor Lorna McIntyre was excellent, as was the interpreter. It would be beneficial if funding was available to make such BSL Introduction course part of Police Officers and Police Staff Induction course or the Equality and Diversity course.

Was a good course but more geared towards office staff rather than being out on the street but overall a good course & excellent trainer

Bianca provided us with lots of information/skills/advice surrounding Mental Health Awareness topic which will be very useful both inside and outside of work. She is friendly and approachable and made me feel relaxed during the training

Very informative and thought provoking - reminded me of the type I came across a young girl looking to jump of a bridge and had to keep her talking until help arrived, very stressful and worrying situation.
