A very well delivered course- both trainers facilitated a really positive environment with some great discussions and the opportunity to reflect on experiences, share and develop ideas and learn from others.

Really important refresher, instruction were clear and discussions were important. It was nice to be able to talk about personal experiences that we have had between the initial course and the refresher, get advice from the trainers as well as the other participants
The refresher course was very good. It helped to have some reflection on what has been working well since the last sessions. The relationship section was very valuable in affirming why positive rapports between staff and children are beneficial for all. The trainers were through and took the time to recap and answer questions.

It was a very simple and underage training that improve my knowledge.. It refreshes my knowledge and way of working in tbe sch setting
Katie and Georgie were great trainers, felt very comfortable throughout the course and feel confident moving forward with what I have learned.
Really enjoyed the course over the 3 days, and I have gained more knowledge about how to properly carry out a RPI and breakaway. Both Georgie and Katie were really knowledgeable and explained each of the breakaways and RPIs step by step which was really helpful.
They were both really good and worked together well as a team to give thorough training. I enjoyed that they used real life examples of how it will be used for us, and they gave each of us the time and attention needed to perfect the break aways and restraints, and the theory was thorough and they went into enough detail but kept the vibe up and kept it very interesting so we didnt lose focus. It was very good and was the first training I've ever had on my life that was so easily digestible to my neurodivergent brain. Both excellent trainers and I hope to have them again for future trainings. They were very person centred with there training which is very appreciated as often people forget to do that with staff. Thankyou lots to both of them.

Helped me know what to do as I forgot some of the of the training
Useful to go over the techniques as this was recommended during my observation. Interesting to hear some examples of how to make the theory side of the course more engaging.
