I have learnt a lot from this course and it was delivered very well. I will take away from this course new ways in how to deal with colleagues who display potentially difficult behaviours and will make me think more about the reasons as to why they may be showing those behaviours and how to then address them if required.Response : Hi Elen. Thank you for your feedback. I’m glad to hear that you found the course well delivered and that it supported reflection on understanding behaviours and how to respond to them. We hope that attending the course will further support you in your role.

Excellent course content and delivery. Feel like there are elements that I will consider that I maybe wouldn't have thought about previously in terms of behaviors of concern. Would very much like to see this incorporated into hive system to allow me to continue to use the skills/knowledge gained today

Kirstie was a brilliant presenter of the course, very informative with real examples during her years in care. The course was extremely informative and although I’m no clinically based, I have learned how take these theories and methods into my working day and home life too! I wish I had done this course as my children were growing up :-)Response : Hi Sarah. Thank you for your feedback. I’m glad to hear that you found Kirstie’s delivery clear and supported by relevant examples from practice. It’s also good to hear that the course content felt applicable beyond a clinical setting. We hope that attending the course will further support you in your role.

Excellent knowledge and expertise from trainer. Very tailored and adaptable to our needs and school. Very friendly trainer who created sense of ease, considering we are learning physical interventions it could have felt uncomfortable but didn’t. Finished course feeling that I can support children appropriately and safely with restraint as last resort.

Informative, engaging and useful. Would be good if there was more reference to DofE guidance Restrictive interventions, including use of reasonable force, in schools Guidance for schools in England rather than predominantly social care settings. Would also be helpful if the workbook was updated to reflect all the slides as felt some of the key info was missing from the workbook. Generally brilliant course which will Inform practice going forward.
