The most I liked was the breakaway techniques. I think we can even use it in our daily life whenever we are in a situation. Ben explained and taught us in a very simple way. Much interactive session. Hope I get to learn more from Day 3.
The class was helpful as I was able to learn all the skills that was taught and able to practice effectively. I gained a lot of insight on understanding behaviour of concern and how to communicate properly.
Excellent course, with the increase of children in the ward struggling with mental health always been worried about saying the wrong thing and how I can help them. This course has been so good at knowing how to communicate with them and help them deescalate and I now feel I have the confidence to give the best care to these patients. Ben the trainer was excellent and made learning fun.
