What's the point of Comptia Learn if it will not help me when it come to getting the actual A+ certifications? The questions on the Comptia Learn practice are a complete opposite to A+ exams.
I think there should be less recap and more lab walk thoughts for more hands-on time. it feels like 1/2 of the course is just core 1 again
A lab environment would be ideal when trying to learn this content. You can only receive assistance to a certain extent when learning virtually. Not that I had any issues when seeking advice/help, but in-person training just seems more reliable when you have tangibles to work with.
Labs need to be incorporated in the lesson and demonstrated by the instructor. Then homework labs reenforcing the subject.
Good program. Not exactly what I was expecting. It's a lot of information and will take weeks/month(s) of studying to get all the information down in order to take the certification exams.
Returning back to college and attending online learning, I’ve found 9 hours daily on the computer to be a little excessive. I have an understand why so many hours are needed. I would suggest that maybe adding additional days would allow for students to not be overwhelmed by the material.
I did learn the ITIL V Foundation and topics covered at a high level.
this course is torture to the uninitiated. Those with some experience still have some difficulty. an extra 2 or three days seems appropriate for learning
Overall, I believe the course and materials were likely adequate for the intended purpose. The only materials I had issues with were the Labs. While there was a substantial amount of information provided, I believe that two weeks was an adequate amount of time to learn the material provided.
With material like this there needs to be some form of hands on learning which is not possible in an online environment. The amount of new information is overwhelming, and all of the material is presented in PowerPoint form.
