This was a very relevant and well structured course which will enable us to remain relevant and be agency of positive change in our organizations.
I would highly recommend this course to anyone that is seeking the Sec+ certification.
I wish all instructors kept things to the point and stayed focused like Mr. Allen. I feel like other instructors tend to get caught up in the real-world examples and tend to drone; I know the idea is to keep things interesting and connect real-course, but I feel like things can get easily off topic and convoluted. Mr. Allen kept on subject.
My only suggestion would be to add a 10 assessment quiz after each lesson (to include homework). overall great class hopefully I have the same instructor for 102.
Too much homework. One day was about 5 hours with all the labs. Cert master learn, cert master practice. all starts to blend together.

I think the 5 days are enough, but the 8-5 learning is too much. Compact the learning into 2 days maybe 3 and the rest as test preparation.
This short amount of time was just not enough for me to retain two chapters/day and move on to the next two chapters the next day and so forth. That is pretty difficult in my opinion. CompTIA's material is very thorough with plenty of detail which is great, but tackling 3 certs in about 2 months is rather challenging. I am absolutely blown away at the fact that each exam was originally slotted for 1 week of class rather than 2. I am really thankful that we have access to the material beyond the course because I will surely be diving into it once I get past the two previous exams.
