The amount of studying and coursework is crazy! But fun, interesting, and enlightening. We have a metric TON of extra study materials, and plenty of people to talk to and ask questions. They do a great job making things applicable and relatable to people wether they are new to IT or experienced. All the staff have been great and genuinely helpful.

I think the content is very dry but Rich made it enjoyable to learn and made sure everyone understood the material to the best of their/his abilities.Response : Thank you for your feedback on the course. Excellent class! Fred was very knowledgeable and clearly did his research when incorporating real-world examples like Target, Equifax, and Starwood into the information presented. He'd also research anything fellow classmates brought up and then discussed it with us the next day. I'm interested in taking the CISA exam and he pointed out test-specific areas to focus on throughout. This was my first MISTI virtual training (no choice due to COVID-19) and I was pleasantly surprised at how well it went using Zoom. Fred easily kept everyone engaged with discussion sessions, so it felt like we were all together even though we weren't physically in the same room. I highly recommend his class. Well done!

Fred was fantastic. Great detail to subject matter. Interacted with participants. Was a great 4 days. Now feel like I have confidence to do the assessment work I need to do each day.

It seemed that the rest of my classmates picked up the material really quickly so the time was okay. I just think for myself I would need more time.

Wasn't a fan of going over out of date hardware and software. Confused me a bit trying to remember what we use and don't use anymore

The course presenters Steve, Josh, Marvin and John were very knowledgeable, and shared some of their experiences about actual cases that they dealt with. It made for a interesting and very interactive course. The breadth of information was wider than what I expected, but it was useful knowledge.
