A lot of information to cover in 4 days. Yes I learned a lot but not sure if I was able to retain enough for the long haul. Just enough to pass the end of course test barely. Great teacher and classmates. Easy to use site and materials. would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to start a career in IT.
This course was chock full of useful and relevant information not only for people pursuing a career in I.T but for anyone who uses computers and digital products.
Overall, class was a great experience. The first day was over my head, but I caught up throughout the week. Mr. McCartney is an excellent instructor, with a clear understanding of the subject matter. He even relocated in the middle of the day due to a power outage, just to ensure the course would go on as planned. In the 20 years that I have participated in government training, that has never happened. Mr. McCartney has an obvious passion for the subject matter and for teaching.
Dr. Mack is very knowledgeable and professional. He engaged the student and maintained enthusiastic dialogue. Every participant, regardless of there education on the subject matter, learned something new and witnessed the best of the best, in action. Well done, Dr. Mack.
It was a great training program to learn/enhance leadership and management skills, and motivating employees. The instructor, Kathleen, was very effective and knowledgeable.
Dr. Mack is a great teacher and listens to his students needs. Runs his course at a wonderful pace and covers everything needed for the assessment.
The course made me pause and rethink the area of improvement as a manager. The course fully covered topics which needs to be addressed, and on top of that, the small group discussions was very useful to know how other managers think and to learn what they do.
