i was disappointed that we are not given an e-book to study from. Taking a class is only the first stage of preparing for a certification tes.

I needed more time.

This seems like a refresher course for people who have already taken the class, two weeks is not enough time to cover all of the material. For the price of this class, I do not think we should have to teach ourselves on the weekend. Also, the course material is a little outdated.

Good course with basic stated value followed through with. Real gem is the Instructor, as Pat has a lot of real world experiences. The value that brings to a basic class to someone "starting" out in IT is phenomenal. This helps with realistic outcomes of going in certain directions and what would be needed in those instances.

I enjoy Melissa as an instructor. I think that she does a good job answering questions and keeping it interesting.

The course material in Comptia took way more time then was listed on the course overview. I spent all day trying to catch up on materials and labs and I am still not at 100%

This is my 5th class with leaderquest and 4th with comptia materials. It has become clear to me that a better use of the materials could be achieved if a day could be allocated for each topic in a course of instruction. Sec+ has 21 topics and we only had time to get through all 21 topics in 10 days by sticking to the slides and lecture. If 21 days were alotted for 21 topics then each day an instructor could guide students through the slides, the related flash cards, quizzes and associated labs BEFORE moving on to the next topic. With the current, accelerated requirements, we might as well all be watching youtube videos which we could get for free. As a student, I am not getting as much out of the current experience as I could if we had more time to spend on each topic and actually learn the material instead of being familiar with it.

Overwhelming amount of material to learn in two weeks.
