I wish the course was a little longer so we could have more study time before starting the next class.
The best possible instructor, horrible materials, the situation was made better by the professor.
Overall the course taught was fantastic, but the ACI materials specifically the slide shows were lacking and seemed rushed. But, with the supplemental materials, and the instructor's knowledge it was easy to find the flaws in the provided materials; he did his best to create his own supplementary materials overnight. For that, I applaud the effort.
Overall, this is a great course. The outdated materials were annoying, but Mr. Tinn masterfully overcame the obstacles and presented the material with deft skill and understanding. I would definitely take more classes from Mr. Tinn. I hope the material catches up to the current level for the future classes.
ACI as a company should consider the programs that are rendered by the VA as it may not be conducive of stated requirements.
death by power points for 4hrs a day is not an effective way to engage students as well as instructors. in the words of former secretary of defense Gen. Mattis " power points make us dumber" . the ITPRO TV was decent at best but when people are working while taking this course and have families its not a picnic to say the least . Do better and take these surveys seriously font brush them off like the last one you did with me .
I wish the instructor would have done like previous instructors and made it easy for us to do a review the day of the test with questions that are on the ACI exams.
