I love the course so much that I wish there was more time.
Enjoyed the class and how it was presented. Got plenty of resources.
There is a lot of information put out. I was overwhelmed at times. Little things for me would have helped. Like questions at the end of the modules. I know we can take practice tests but those a the end of the module would help me be able to add that to the brain, even if I had to go and look up the answers.
Response: Thanks for the feedback. We are always looking at ways to improve our training. We are looking for ways to incorporate more directed reviews for each module.
While there is a huge wealth of materials associated with the course and I do think it meets its goals, this death by PowerPoint design is rough. I think it would make more sense to make the general definition memorization on the student and make the actual theory of operation/implementation of concepts the focus of the class, maybe by having the class work through some labs together or something similar. Even with the teacher asking questions this sort of class is very one-sided and difficult to stay engaged with for four hours even with breaks.
Response: Thanks for the feedback. Jonathan and I have already talked about doing more instructor led labs. Can't do them all that way but a few interspersed would definitely help.
Everything should be taught even though some people knw it.
Overall it's an excellent opportunity. Please look into pulling more info from the Certmaster test.
This should be a course that you choose to take if this is direction you want to go. Do not feel that it is absolutely necessary even if being brand new to IT. If you had project management aspirations then I think its a great course to take along with other ITIL courses related to this,
Azeal was a wonderful instructor. I would highly recommend this course to any and everyone. He made the course very enjoyable, when the material was not per say enjoyable material to learn as someone trying to learn this material from ground up. I thankful and grateful I was afforded the opportunity to participate in this course.
Instructor (Jerry Carrillo) is clear & very patient; understands various learning/teaching styles, Instructor is very positive & helps to explain material with great pace.
