Practical scenario work and repeated use of the ALGEE framework help attendees translate mental health first-aid principles into calm, supportive action. They value knowledgeable, empathetic trainers who create safe, inclusive discussions, maintain a clear pace and encourage learning from peers. The blended modules, videos, handbook and breakout exercises build understanding and confidence that transfers to work and personal situations, although some find the online manual awkward to navigate.

A great couple of training days. I've done the MFHA training before (English version) but feel that this was better. It was clearly presented with empathy, and although my anxiety spiked at several points, this was handled well by the instructors.

Everything was great, very informative, Lauren was great and very engaging. Going into breakout rooms was helpful and applying ALGEE. Very clear guidance in what to do moving forward and applying to real life

Excellent course, would recommend. Our own mental health was taken into consideration also, due to content

Maybe the breakout rooms slightly too long as we got our thoughts out pretty quickly.

I enjoyed learning more about the mental health side off things and it has helped me to understand more about what I went through

Was a good course, I think a lot of crossover with my psychology degree, so would be interested if there is a similar course that goes a bit beyond what I learn in my degree. Nevertheless I found the scenarios and learning what to and not to say in scenario's the most interesting because I had not learnt this before. I also do not think this is any fault of the course but just who happens to be partaking in it at the same time as me, sometimes in the breakout rooms they were not always the most keen, it felt like, to engage in conversation. But again i guess this is the nature of teams for most.
