Practical scenario work and repeated use of the ALGEE framework help attendees translate mental health first-aid principles into calm, supportive action. They value knowledgeable, empathetic trainers who create safe, inclusive discussions, maintain a clear pace and encourage learning from peers. The blended modules, videos, handbook and breakout exercises build understanding and confidence that transfers to work and personal situations, although some find the online manual awkward to navigate.

Ellender was fantastic, she made the course fun and informative. I am usually quite nervous on webinars and zoom meetings but Ellender instantly made me feel at ease and welcomed. The online course was great with rich multimedia resources that made learning engaging and enjoyable. So happy I enrolled on this course.

A wonderful resource, course and webinars. I wish I had known about this earlier - feel it would have been useful both in a work and personal situation. However, much better prepared now for future conversations. Thank you so much! Special thanks to Ellender for keeping us all together and ensuring sessions didn't over-run etc x

I really enjoyed the course as it was very informative and was good to apply what we had learnt to different scenarios. Jordan was great. One piece of constructive criticism could be to expand a little more on the substance use section. I feel it could be useful to mention and go over different sorts of crisis for substance use as well as just aggression.
