I think the course was well put together with physical intervention and also with the materials used on power point my trainers were very knowledgeable not only in specific areas but on all and would highly recommend for future training

I understand the PBS much better and also understand recording and assessment, factors affecting behaviour and many more. I also learned new things about primary,secondary and tertiary restrictive measures. Bani and Akin are good trainers and more explanatory .

The training was relevant to my role and reminded me how significantly PBS impacts on the people I support. I was reminded on the need for effective communication and the factors that could influence a person's behaviour. I was also trained on the impact that trauma could have on a person's reaction to situations. I also learnt about triggers and cues and how to use the STEPS approach in managing behaviours of concern. I must always remember to use the least restrictive option.
