I did find the course interesting but as I have an autistic adult child, I was already aware of a lot of the things that were presented. The Venue was not ideal, it was cold, too big and the screen used to display the slides was too small for the room and some of us struggled to follow what was happening due to lack of visibility and difficulty understanding what was being said by the trainer and colleagues. The location was not great as it was far away and incurred an hours travel each way which ended up costing me extra childcare fees. As nice as an hour break for lunch is, as a lot of us were unfamiliar with the area we were left wondering about not knowing where to go locally for food and drink that wouldn't make us late getting back. we were advised that the afternoon session was starting at 1pm however it did not start until 1.30pm so more sitting around for what was already a long day. most of us were tired by the afternoon and found it difficult to stay engaged however I did enjoy the second half much more though as I found the gentleman very knowledgeable and interesting
While the training was ongoing, network from the trainers end kept fluctuating repeatedly. Also, for a training that should refresh our minds on medication calculation methods, only few minutes spent on units and fomulars while the rest hours on theory of medications. A bit of adjustment will make it better.
