Paul, the trainer is excellent and the training day was enjoyable and useful to but as a live in Carer, I’m shocked that there is no section about Dementia. It’s a huge issue which is very specialised and there are other things too which used to be on the day courses we attended.

Having a 2nd group come in the afternoon wastes time as we go over things we have done in the morning such as fire safety, introductions and some of the training gets brought up in the afternoon that we have already done. This course isn't very applicable to home care/ complex care

With no booklet to refer to for in-depth content and for writing notes was very disappointing and in my opinion the content was less than expected for the cost charged
